The Big Sandy Crayfish (Cambarus callainus) resembles a miniature lobster and is listed as a Threatened Species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) of 1973.  It is found only in the Big Sandy River Basin in within the states of Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Creating and Restoring Wetlands – Autauga County, Alabama

Waypoint personnel developed a 48 acre wetland restoration project to create 48 acres of bottomland hardwood wetlands in Autauga County, Alabama.   To accomplish this, the first step has been grading to allow hydrology to be restored to the area.
